I know that I never met her, and it's been over a decade but she's still very much part of my life and will always be.

Poetry Time! by yours truly...
Disjointed
There were so many times I could have been a great poet
but distractions aren’t so candid in my view, instead
they work against my honest way of looking at things
because noticing poetry isn’t hard as noticing Earth’s second moon
alike we are orbiting around an idea to see Earth as an idea rather
than a living organ, maybe too profane and an easy way out of obscurity
so I sit my pen down for a second, actually I don’t have a pen at all
just a romantic space in my mind, that carries one with a notebook
I no longer speak in proper fashion of a grammatical being
but instead in disjointed ideas and phrases which give no
real direction of what I’m really trying to say, but just enough
to pretend and make you feel obliged to feel the same
